Use your navigator, GOOGLE maps or traditional maps to find the easiest way to the "De Witte Villa".
But there are some beautiful “ green routes” through the northern part of our province:
The first en third routes are not accessible for caravans (the floating bridge over the canal near ‘t Zand is too small)
From Amsterdam passing through the old polders (Polders are reclaimed land from the sea)
Follow the A7/E22 north and take the exit to the N241. This road takes you along Opmeer, Zijdewind en Schagen.
Near Schagen cross the N248 and follow the direction ‘t Zand.
First cross the Noord-Hollands canal with a floating bridge.
Attention: the floationg bridge is not accessible for caravans.
Than cross the N9 and follow the signs Groote Keeten and you will arrive at the road which runs parallel with the dunes.
Turn here North and follow this road until the Callantsogervaart.
Opposite this road, on top of the dunes you will see a red light house.
Turn right on the Callantsogervaart and take the small parallel road to the "De Witte Villa".
From Alkmaar along the dune route
Follow the N9 and the exit to Bergen or Schoorl. This will lead you to the dune route via small town like Groet,
Petten en Callantsoog. Along this route you will pass the bird sanctuaries and nature reserves the Putten en het
Zwanenwater. Follow the way North until the Callantsogervaart.
Opposite this road, on top of the dunes you will see a red light house.
Turn right on the Callantsogervaart and take the small parallel road to the "De Witte Villa".
From the Afsluitdijk via Wieringen
Follow the N99 and pass the Amstelmeer on your left. Take the exit by Ewijcksluis and follow the N249 heading ’ t Zand.
